Frequently asked questions
Can an external DPO manage several clients in DPO Connect?
Yes. Whether you are an outsourced DPO, a GDPR consultant or a DPO shared between several bodies, each client is a separate organisation, with its own record, dashboard and access rights. You switch from one to another in one click, without mixing scopes.
Can clients see data from other organisations?
No. Access rights are granted organisation by organisation: your client has access to their organisation, with the role you give them, and sees nothing of your other client files.
Does Lea, the AI assistant, mix up client data?
No. Lea answers only from the data of the organisation that is open, citing the entries she uses. She is hosted in Europe.
What happens at the end of an engagement?
Your client takes out their own DPO Connect subscription and you transfer their organisation to them: they keep the full history. You can remain linked to it as DPO, without managing the organisation any more, or withdraw. If you leave it, only the person in charge of it can invite you back.
