Frequently asked questions

Does a processor have to keep a record of processing activities?

Yes. GDPR Article 30(2) requires processors to keep a record of the categories of processing carried out on behalf of their clients: the identity of each client and of its DPO, and the categories of processing. DPO Connect keeps it alongside your controller record.

How can you answer a tender’s GDPR questionnaire quickly?

By keeping your evidence ready: records, contracts and supporting documents. In DPO Connect, contracts and supporting documents are filed on the client’s or provider’s entry, the general audit attaches supporting evidence to each requirement, and your processor record exports to PDF or Excel.

What are the Article 28 clauses?

The terms the GDPR requires in any contract under which a processor handles personal data: subject matter, duration, instructions, security, what happens to the data at the end of the contract. In DPO Connect, the entry for each of your own providers tracks the checking of these clauses, its security measures and its transfers outside the Union.

Your processor obligations, documented.
